Hosting and server logs

The website is delivered via Cloudflare Workers (Static Assets) (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time, requested address and browser identifier to deliver the page and protect against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and stable operation). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; a data processing agreement is in place.

Local storage in your browser

So that your inputs survive a misclick or a later visit, we store in your browser's localStorage: the calculator inputs, the chosen language and – only if you switch it – the colour scheme. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us. Storage is strictly necessary for the service you requested (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). You can delete it at any time via your browser's site data settings.

The calculator inputs are also part of the address bar (query parameters) so that sharing and the back button work. They only contain technical vehicle and wheel dimensions, no personal data.

Under “Matching parts” you will find links to Amazon.de and eBay.de labelled as ads. Only when you click a link are you forwarded to the respective provider, who may then set cookies and recognise that you came from our site in order to attribute a commission to us. The respective provider is responsible for this processing: Amazon Europe Core S.à r.l. or eBay GmbH; their privacy notices apply. The legal basis for providing the links is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (economic interest in financing this free service).

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15–21 GDPR).
